Established in the summer of 1997, Submarine Safaris were the first to operate a real submarine on the island. In April 2008 they achieved their 18,000th dive carrying an estimated 580,000 satisfied customers in just 10 years. A large and varied selection of fish can be seen on all dives as shown below, along with a diver who swims around the portholes to feed them.
The submarine is maintained at the same temperature and pressure as the ground outside so there are no issues with any health problems and you will have no feelings of seasickness as you are under the waves. If you feel you would be too enclosed or claustraphobic in the submarine, just remember that there is more room on this submarine than on an aircraft, so if you flew here you can take this trip without any problems.
They provide an inclusive bus service from Playa Blanca, Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise with various pick up points and times to suit all clients.
Prices for the trip are: Adults - 52€, Children (2 to 14) - 30€ and OAP´s (Over 65) - 42€.
